✍️ The Magic of the First Draft
In the photo above, our young learners are deep in “Writing Time.” At this stage, writing is a multi-sensory experience. Whether they are tracing their first letters or beginning to form independent sentences, they are developing:
- Fine Motor Skills: The physical coordination to grip a pencil and control its movement.
- Phonetic Awareness: Connecting the sounds they hear to the symbols they write.
- Confidence: The pride that comes from seeing their thoughts take shape on the page.
